RECOMMENDED BOOKS
-WRITING | IMPROV | CREATIVITY-
Some of the books in personal development could’ve been put here as well but I wanted to keep this section purely for writing, creating and all that fun stuff.
The Triangle of the Scene: A simple, practical, powerful method for approaching improvisation by Paul Vaillancourt
5/5 Five points for applicability. For a beginner improviser like myself this book helped by giving only few major points to focus on.
How to Be the Greatest Improviser on Earth by Will Hines
5/5 Easy to read, entertaining and extremely helpful. Requires the basic knowledge of terms etc. I read this after five or so months of doing classes.
On Writing Well: The Classic Guide to Writing Nonfiction by William Zinsser
5/5 Not only a goldmine of information but also motivating for an aspiring writer. All I wanted to was write while reading this. (Read in 2017)
Everybody Writes: Your Go-To Guide to Creating Ridiculously Good Content
Ann Handley
The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks and Win Your Inner Creative Battles
Steven Pressfield
On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft
